The Objects page allows you to add near-field shading objects specific to a DC Field. This provides access to the legacy 3D shading editor where you can define obstructions such as buildings, trees, poles, and other structures that may cast shadows on the DC Field.
Legacy Workflow — Scheduled for DeprecationThe DC Field-level 3D Objects workflow is a legacy feature that will be deprecated in a future release. Users are advised to use the plant-level 3D Scene workflow for all new projects, which provides enhanced capabilities including:
  • Unified shading analysis across all DC Fields
  • Improved visualization and editing tools
  • Better performance for large-scale projects
See 3D Scene for the recommended workflow.
