Overview
The PLP-1000 report is accessible from the Header Bar in the Map Builder by clicking the PLP-1000 button. This opens the configuration interface where you can customize the layout appearance and report details before generating a PDF download.
PLP-1000 Configuration Interface
Configuration Options
The PLP-1000 configuration panel provides the following options to customize your layout drawing:PLP-1000 Base Layer
Select the background imagery for your layout:| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Satellite | Uses satellite imagery as the base layer, showing aerial photography of the site |
| Terrain | Uses terrain imagery showing topographic contours and elevation features |
PLP-1000 Layers
Toggle the visibility of various design layers on your layout:| Layer | Description |
|---|---|
| KML Import | Shows any imported KML/KMZ boundary or feature data |
| Setbacks | Displays setback zones from site boundaries |
| Constraint Offsets | Shows offset areas around defined constraints |
| Site Boundaries | Displays the site boundary polygon |
| Constraints | Shows constraint features (linear, area, and point constraints) |
| Labels | Adds labels to constraint features when Constraints layer is enabled |

Report Details
Configure the project information that appears on the layout drawing:| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Project Developer | The name of the project developer or owner |
| Project Name | The name of the solar project |
| Design Name | The name of this specific design iteration |
| MWac Net Capacity | The net AC capacity of the system in megawatts |
| Redacted Version | When checked, generates a redacted version of the layout suitable for external distribution |
Map View Controls
The map preview within the configuration interface can be adjusted before export:- Zoom In / Zoom Out — Adjust the zoom level to show more or less detail
- Pan — Click and drag to reposition the map view
- Recenter — Adjust the view to ensure all relevant design elements are visible
The white border visible in the configuration interface represents the exact area that will be exported to the PDF. Position and zoom the map to ensure all desired elements are visible within this border.
