PlantPredict is a cloud-based subscription platform. Every plan includes unlimited projects and predictions, and free, unlimited viewer accounts for stakeholders who only need to review results. You pay for the modeling power your team needs — nothing more.

## Frequently asked questions

    Yes. PlantPredict offers a 14-day free trial of PlantPredict Pro with full functionality and no credit card required. Sign up for a free account and look for the free trial button in the Subscriptions tab.

  <Accordion title="What counts as a user?">
    A user is anyone who runs simulations or modifies project parameters. Viewer accounts — for stakeholders who only need to review results — are free and unlimited on every plan.

  <Accordion title="Can I pay monthly?">
    Basic and Core support monthly billing (\$150/mo and \$360/mo respectively); Pro also offers monthly billing at the 3-user tier (\$780/mo). The 10-user Pro tier is annual only.

  <Accordion title="How does PlantPredict compare to PVsyst?">
    PlantPredict is a modern cloud-native alternative to PVsyst, with support for terrain-following trackers and a full REST API / Python SDK. It runs concurrent simulations at scale without local hardware constraints.

  <Accordion title="Can I import my existing projects from PVsyst?">
    Yes. Upload a PVsyst project `.zip` and it's translated into a native PlantPredict project automatically: the project (`.PRJ`) becomes a PlantPredict project, each calculation variant (`.VC#`) becomes its own prediction, and modules (`.PAN`), inverters (`.OND`), weather (`.MET`), and 3D shade scenes (`.SHD`) all come across.
