# RELEASE 12.34.0

**October 29, 2026**

# **PlantPredict**

### **PVC2 Import (Beta)**

Power plants can now be imported from PVCollada 2.0 (PVC2) files. The new **Import Options** menu under Power Plant Specifications offers both **Import from PVFARM** and **Import from PVC2**.

The racks, modules, strings, and inverters in the file are turned into arrays and DC fields, and the 3D scene is saved with the prediction. Modules and inverters are chosen from the library or loaded from PAN and OND files, including any embedded in the PVC2 file. The **Simplify** option from PVFARM import is also available.

The PVC2 format is still being defined by its industry working group, in particular for electrical connections, and the only PVC2 files available today are early examples from design tools. This import is therefore released as a beta and will change as the format settles. Transformers, losses, and tracker limits are not read from the file and are set to company default values. Files that contain only geometry, with no electrical connections, cannot be imported as a power plant but can still be opened as a 3D scene.

### **DC Field Aggregation (V13)**

When several DC fields share an inverter, their current–voltage curves are now combined into a single I–V curve, and the maximum power point and inverter clipping are calculated from that combined curve. Previously, the maximum power voltages of the DC fields were averaged, which was inaccurate whenever the DC fields were inhomogeneous.

This change only applies to Prediction Logic 13. Results from Prediction Logic 12 and below remain unchanged.

## **Improvements and Bug Fixes**

* **SolarAnywhere weather upload** — DHI was automatically mapped to the clear-sky DHI column, and is now mapped to the measured DHI. Quality Check now also warns when DHI is above GHI.
* **Long sub-hourly weather files** — Weather files of up to 2.5 million time steps (for example, 20 years of 5-minute data) now import successfully, and their raw data and charts load faster.
* **PVsyst import** — Horizon profile, monthly albedo, MV collection loss, and plant output limit are now imported.
* **DC degradation (V13)** — Minor bugs in how DC degradation is applied have been fixed.
* **Sky diffuse shading (V13)** — Under specific conditions, the sky diffuse shading factor could exceed 1 in some hours, which overstated sky diffuse irradiance. Now fixed.
* **Legacy 3D shading (deprecated)** — Cloning a prediction that uses the deprecated legacy 3D shading model now switches the shading model to 2D.
* **Custom rotation schedule** — Fixed a bug where downloading an uploaded custom rotation schedule could fail.
